Nestled between Houston and Dallas, this 60-acre lake is part of a 1,600-acre ranch offering both serenity and great fishing. The lake was drained in 2019 and it was restocked in 2020 with coppernose bluegill, red ear sunfish, fathead minnows, threadfin shad and pure Florida bass.

The lake’s depth varies, with the deeper areas reaching up to 20 feet, while the back third of the lake remains shallower, under 5 feet, providing different habitats for aquatic life. The rock ramp offers easy access for launching full-size bass boats, and the covered dock adds to the charm and convenience of the area. It’s also great that the all-weather ranch road makes access quick and easy, enhancing the overall enjoyment of this private oasis.

Lodging Option #1

Lake Lodge is a beautiful, fully equipped 2 bedroom lodge overlooking Red Lake. There is a spacious living room that opens to the kitchen and dining area and a large outdoor patio. There is also an incredible outdoor kitchen that has all the bells and whistles and cooking options you could imagine. This is the place you want to take your best customer, wife, or buddy when you want to treat them to a dream weekend.

Bedroom one is larger and has two queen size beds, two large walk-in closets and a full bathroom boasting a walk-in shower - it also has a cozy sitting area with a fireplace and TV that can be opened to the outside back porch.

Bedroom two has a queen sized bed, large walk in closed, TV and full bathroom. This bathroom is accessible from the main living area also.

There is a 2 night, 3 fishing day, 3 person MINIMUM to stay here. The price for each person is $850. This price is includes the use of 1 small plastic boat for every two people, complete with battery and trolling motors. All linens, towels, coffee, spices etc... are included. This reservation gives you access to use of all lakes including, Black Bird Lake, Red Lake and Harding Lake (availability may vary).

Lodging Option #2

Fish and Stay at the Hill Top Single Room Cabin for 3 days of fishing, 2 nights of lodging, 2 person minimum to stay here. The price is $750 per person. The Hill top cabin sits just above the large lodge and has a fully equiped kitchen and two sets of bunk beds in a single room.

All lodging reservations receive the use of 1 Pond Prowler (plastic two man boat) complete with batteries, trolling motor and use of all lakes including, Blackbird Lake, Red Lake and Harding Lake (availability may vary) from Sunrise to Sunset for 3 days.

You must call our office directly to reserve so that we can make the reservation for you. There is a 48 hour advance notice to stay here.

Please harvest all bass under 14 inches along with any crappie and catfish you catch.

No pets allowed at any PWF property.
