This soil conservation lake is 17 acres with depths up to 16 feet. The lake was built in 60's and was a deep canyon and has silted in over the years. However, there are several deep-water pockets, large rock boulders under the clear water. The lake has little vegetation allowing you to use your entire tackle box. We do not believe there are crappie in the lake, but the lake does have blue cats and channel catfish.

The only area to launch a boat is very shallow and would be difficult to launch any boat other than a jon boat, kayak or plastic boat. We would not recommend trying to launch any boat with an outboard motor. There is not an improved ramp.

Please note there is a fence line on the shallow side of the lake. This part of the lake is owned by a separate landowner and we are not allowed to fish on this side of the fence line. This side of the fence line represents about 1/6 of the lake or approximately 3 acres.
