This 60 acre, 25 foot deep east Texas tea-colored water lake was built in 2009 by the same engineering firm that built Lake Fork. The lake has lots of brush, mostly underwater, and was built with the fisherman in mind. Each year the lake receives additional forage (baitfish) for the bass. Some years it is tilapia, other years threadfin shad or bluegill. With its proximity (just 80 miles east of downtown Dallas) and great fishing, we expect this lake to be one of the most popular in the club.

A handful of times a year the landowner's family or friends may fish at the lake while a reservation is taking place. If fishing with another person or persons is not what you are looking for, please book an alternate site.

There is a 16-foot-wide concrete boat ramp that can launch full-size bass boats. The lake boasts a covered boathouse with a 16-foot pontoon boat for members to use. If there is a trolling motor on the boat. Please do not use. This is the owners trolling motor. You must bring your own Trolling motor and batteries.

In addition, there are two 14-foot Jon boats for members to use. DO NOT DRAG JON BOATS ON THE BOAT RAMP.

Please note you must be willing to harvest at this site, it is the reason we are there! If you do not want to harvest the small bass AND report your harvest you will not be allowed to fish this lake. We have lots of lakes that do not require harvesting. MANDATORY!!! Remove all bass 14” and under and all crappie and catfish at this site. Report the total number of each species removed, back to the club office through the online reservation system after your outing.

You must bleach your live wells

Please note there are two locks at the front gate. You must lock the PWF combination lock through the shackle of the keyed lock. Failure to do this locks the cattle lessor out of the property and really causes big issues for PWF staff. Please take the time to understand how to lock the two locks together. (We have provided a picture of how they should be locked, please review all property photos before you go so you can see how they should be left)

If you need additional tackle or want to take a lunch break; Lake Fork Trophy Lures, a full-service tackle store, and a dozen restaurants are less than 10 minutes from the front gate of the ranch.
