Fry
Got on the water around 8 AM. Temperature 75 degrees with clouds left over from a thunderstorm the night before.
This was my first outing as PWF member. Like the others before me I started off the morning throwing a frog in the pads. No bites there but I heard plenty of bluegill “popping” throughout the morning.
I tied on a bluegill colored swim jig and worked the pads for a few minutes before moving on to the point in between the fingers.
I flipped the bushes on the point for almost a hour with a Texas rig. I set the hook on a few “bites” that very well could’ve been branches.
I made my way around the lake checking out the structure and eventually picked up a small bass near the ramp
Overall I had a good time fishing this lake and had a great conversation with the owner after my outing.
