Great day to fish, light winds and close to home in Ferris. The crappie bite was on, and it went on all afternoon. Tied on a crappie crank and caught one on the 1st cast. They were all over the middle of the lake. I filled the cooler with crappie and at 5pm tied on a spinner bait to catch some bass. Perch colored 3/8 spinner bait took 7 bass off of the bank in an hour. Biggest bass was 3 ½ lbs and all over the slot. Fish fry tonight!
