I got to get out to this beautiful property a second time for a few hours. It was a last minute booking, and I knew the winds were going to be 15-25 mph. Weather conditions didn’t matter because they were biting for me. I was happy my battery lasted for the time! I didn’t have electronics on this trip, but the water felt like they were in the 60’s. Water clarity was maybe 2’. I was using black & blue and chartreus & white colors. I was throwing heavy baits to cut through the winds. I caught them both shallow and deep. I ended with 28 bass and 10 crappie. Most of the bass were 2-4# chunks. I could kick myself because I had 2 chances at catching absolute lunkers. They both ran and pulled so hard that they pulled the hook out. I was not able to turn either fish, arghhhh. I would say the fish pulled just as hard or harder than Double-A. Crazy, right?! You can be the judge. All crappie were nice slabs caught in deep water. Wish I could keep the crappie! Anyways, I believe I would fish this property often if it wasn’t 2 hours away. I’ve only fished the first of the 3 lakes available. What a gem of a place. Thank you owner and PWF!

Nice healthy looking fish there Tri. Windy days can be a blessing when they are biting. Wind isn't blowing under the water, just on is humans.
