Two of your newest members here, we decided to take on the elements in the pontoon boat and found it much more manageable than originally expected with a 40lb trust trolling motor.  Weather predictions were all over the place, but knew it would be cloudy all day with wind 10-12 and occasional showers and consistent light rain.

We started off in the shallows fishing top water and wacky rigged seinkos, started connecting on the buzzbait and W.plopper.  Wind and rain really started to pick up around 08:00 forcing us to stick to the larger arms and never had luck fishing off the bottom all day except for 1 dink towards the end. After a quick lunch in town, we returned, along with the rain and wind.  We switched up to spinnerbaits and frogs for the rest of the day and initially had luck with a 4lb and then the 7lb kicker, but the bite really turned off after 15:00. All the fish looked heathy, also saw many healthy beavers.
