Had a few hours to fish on Saturday and headed out to Travis Lake. This is my third time fishing here and it never disappoints. It was very windy and the spot lock came in handy on my boat. Even though the outside air temp was in the 50’s the fish were aggressively attacking everything. I caught the biggest fish by the dam, but I caught fish all over the lake. I only fished for about three hours, and was very happy with the amount of fish I caught. Largest was 4.5lbs and another almost went 4lb. Love this Lake.

It is a nice lake. I am going out there in the next few weeks. Have always caught one or two decent fish and there is a couple 6-8 pounders swimming there. Got the friendliest cows in the club too.
