We had another great day at Gilmer Hat and Star. We’ve hit upon some really good sized bass there in the past. We managed some good ones on this trip too. I fished with my son Cleve but couldn't get on the water till 1:30pm due to lighting all morning. He caught his big ones casting from the shore in a couple of shallow water timber piles. After we were able to get out on the water, action was constant till about 5:30 pm, It was a fantastic day.
