Fished with PWF member Stephen Schneider April 1st.  Got on the water a little before 9:00, had slight slight wind coming from the north and water temps started out in the upper 50’s.  Stephen caught our first one around 9:30 then we had about 3 hours of casting practice throughout the lake.  We were spotting fish on the sonar anywhere from 10 to 30 feet and threw every crank bait, swim bait and A-rig at them with no interest.  Around 1:00 or 1:30 the water temps had hit 61 and we moved over to the Northeast side of the water and began to catch on just about any Texas rigged dark color plastic worm, dragging on the bottom (“countin rocks” as my dad calls it.)  Mostly off the edge of the grass but a few up on the flats in 1 to 2 feet of water. Stephen boated a nice 5.5 pound fish and we caught a few in the 3+ range and Lots of 2-3 lb fish pretty steady on the same pattern.  We drifted down that side of the property over and over til around 5 when we called it quits.  Had a Great day at a great property.  The owner came down right before we started getting hot so we can thank him for being so hospitible and for turning the bite on for us.  Very nice guy and I look forward to fishing his place again.
