Wonderful start ,the lock has been replaced and it was a breeze to get in and out of the property.I have had  terribly times with the old lock and thought sometimes I would never get it open. 

The access to the lake is great. The visibility was 30” ,the lake is still down but easy to launch a kayak  and very fishable.The side opposite the dock has many sections without any vegetation,which likely died off due to last years drought. The side of the dock has vegetation down to the water line the entire length.In the lake the vegetation has not had much  growth so far. and was no problem.The water line appears to be 30” from a prior high water mark on the shore but 6” of water would be all that is necessary to fill it up.

Fished with another member from 7am to 11:30 am Saturday. Caught 38 bass and one crappie. The largest was 4 lbs with most from 2 lbs to 3 ½ lbs. We had only three bass under 14” . Up until 9am the bass were on the edge of the grass and wtless with any plastic worked. After 9 they moved out 15 to 25 ft and we got them with worms. We did not try any crank baits nor spinner baits which would have been easy to fish because the vegetation was not an issue.
