Did an afternoon fish as a front was pushing through, sustained wind 25-30mph.  Made fishing the creature baits really tough, managed most of those bites casting into the bank around cover near the deeper.  We caught 26 – 17 of those under slot.  The 9 bigger fish (2-3 lbs) came out of the eastern half of the water within casting distance of the main channel.  Water color was off due to recent rain & wind, anything with red seemed to work:  Red spinner with gold blade, red & yellow lipless crank, red/black plastic worm on texas rig.  Pretty place, would like to come back when weather is more cooperative.
