First time here and the land owner has done a wonderful job on this property.  It is mowed down and well manicured.  Easy to launch my kayak and from the first cast ...it was on!  I put a black/blue buzz bait with a 3.5 Kai tech swim bait trailer on and it was non stop!  With the wind howling and partially cloudy skies, I caught 32 bass on that silly bait.  To be fair, I have fished a ton over the last several years and never really used a buzz bait.  However, I remember watching the MLF Redcrest a year ago and once you get a bait going, don't stop.  So today, I threw that buzz bait and have never had so much fun.  All the fish fought hard and were mad at the world and NO DINKS!  This place has healthy 2-5 pounders and when you find what they want to bite get ready.  There was a lot of millfoil type grass but I stayed out of it and kept parallel to the shore, pull the bait down the shore and WHAMMMMO, the fish hate whatever that buzzbait is supposed to mimic!  I'm not actually sure why.  I tried a whopper plopper, and a chatter bait and TX RIG salamander in spots where I knew the fish were there and NOTHING.  But I would throw that buzz and SMACK!  With authority!!!!  Thanks PWF and land owner.  I will be back.
