Morning trip with Member Chris Massey made for a great first trip of the year.  We caught 44 bass in 3 ½ hours and missed / lost at least a dozen others.  Fish were caught mostly within 10 yards from the shore in all areas of the lake.  A few dinks, but mostly 1.5 to 3.5 lbs.   Swim Sencos and spinnerbaits were the ticket.  No luck with topwaters.   Looks like we missed the spawn, but a fine trip nonetheless.
