Had Perfect conditions from dawn until about 10:30am, before giving way to sunshine and 20+ mile an hour winds. Water was up and they had not pushed into the shallows yet. Spent 20 mins fishin the pipe and cove to no avail, so worked my way up the west side bank throwing a vision 110 FX jerkbait past the grass line and slowly twtched it back giving it 20-30 seconds to loiter along the edge of the deeper water. They were stacked up on the transition from the boat launch to the dam, and we're obliterating that jerk bait. I threw other moving baits at them and nothing. Caught a couple on Yamamoto D-shad and Deps cover scat but the jerk bait was the deal. The fish are, healthy, gorgeous in color, and fight like hell. by 10:30, the fog lifted, the clouds had burned off, the sun came out. The wind started blowing fiercely and the fish turned off. Caught 28 total, 2 culls, with the largest being 4.5 or so pounds. The Majority of the fish were 3-4 pounds. I consider that a great day! This property is always well-maintained, easy to access, and you can fish the entire perimeter from the bank if you do not want to go out on a boat/kayak.

That is an awesome morning, glad you found a pattern that worked so well! Something about a good foggy morning, always seems to set the tone for a fishy day ๐
