The fish at this lake love to jump! Most seemed like they were a foot above the water and several could have easily jumped into the boat (I wish they had!). It was exciting fishing, but also meant we lost 1 for every 3 we caught. Didn't take away from the fun me and my middle kiddo had on the lake. 
 

Miley windy and almost cold day despite the forecasted high 77, which it never came close to. Water clarity was 4-5 feet, so natural colors worked best for the paddletail swimbaits that caught 80% of the fish. Caught a few on a swim jig and wacky worm when we wanted to switch it up or when the bite slowed. 
 

Most LMB were just barely above the slot, but I did hook one that looked to be 5-6lbs before he...you guessed it...jumped and threw the lure. Disappointing, but made for a great show! Great lake for numbers and fun.
