Member John Bedore and I had a great time fishing at Lago Escondido Saturday 2/25.  The weather was cool and windy for most of the day but the fishing was on fire.  
We used crank baits , lipless crank baits and chatterbaits from 8:15 till 5:00 with a long lunch break.

I fished here a month ago and the fish were holding tight to trees and other structure.  On this trip the fish were mostly in the open water away from any structure holding tight to the bottom.  
The water level will begin to be an issue here before long as there is not enough depth to run a trolling motor in the shallower sections of the lake so make sure to get here while the fishing is hot and the lake is accessible to most of the lake.  Also you may want to bring some WD-40 for the mechanism to deploy the trolling motor.  Most of the fish we caught were solid fish with 75% being release fish including the big girl in the pic.
