Fishing pressure is something that we monitor very closely and understand the effect fishing pressure can have on lakes. There are several examples of fee lakes outside our club,  that produce very few fish because of too much fishing pressure. I personally do not beleive that any of our fisheries suffer from this. Every lake fishes differently. For example, Cleburne Six-O-Ranch is a large body of water that often sees a group of one 1/2 day trip, while San Saba often sees larger groups of 2-4 people for all day trips. Consequently, we could fish Six-O-Ranch everyday (which we don’t) and San Saba only two or three times a week (which we do), but San Saba would have more fishing pressure. So, just because a lake was fished the day before you were there, especially by one guy and/or a 1/2 day trip, does not mean the lake has too much pressure. Most fee lakes, including the high dollar places, see a minimum of 5-10 people a day, everyday. On those lakes there is no such thing as a rest day. In fact, some of these lakes may see 15-30 people on a weekend. We have a “Real Solitude” policy that keeps you private and fishing pressure low.
