I only had a few hours to spend at the lake today, but it was a blast.  The first fish of the day was also the smallest, and it was ounces away from 2 pounds.  After that first fish they were all over the 2 pound mark.  These had to be some of the prettiest bass I've ever seen; they were a remarkable shade of green and were very healthy.  They all were located around the north half of the lake. I brought a bunch of lures but all they wanted was my spinnerbait.  They weren't all the way up in the grass but seemed to be moving that way.     I borrowed the jon boat on property and it worked great!  This was my first time at this property and it was  beautiful.  I look forward to coming back!
