My wife and I showed up around 12:00 noon to a very windy day at Shady Grove. I wish we could say we had the same luck as the reports previous to ours but we can’t. Pretty slow and the size of the fish was not anything to speak of. Counting the lakes from top left we only fished Lake #5 and Lake #6. Lure of the day was the swim bait with spinner in the white color. I think in a few weeks these lakes will get better.
Question to the group do all the lakes have fish in them? Lake #3 is probibly half open with very good cover and deep water. I have casted from the shore with no luck but boy it looks fishy.
Thanks to the owners we enjoyed the day and had a beautiful sunset!

Our survey showed fish in all 3 bottom lakes and those are the ones I would target; we didn’t survey the one I think you are referencing but I would assume it has good bass in it. The top two in the Northeast section are usually pretty choked out and would be very hard to fish but if you can get a lure in there I’m sure they are holding fish as well.
