Started the day with clear skies, air temp at 32 and water at 51 degrees. The water was clear with 5ft of viz and the weedline was bright green and looking really healthy.  I landed 7 bass, 3 under 14” and the others were solid with full bellies.  Also caught a monster channel cat on a lipless but too hard to hold with one hand and unable to snap a pic. Most of the fish were caught in the 18ft zone, hanging close to the bottom. I spotted several schools throughout the lake and was able to find some of the brush piles that Cole recently dropped.  I also saw some larger fish in the 30 foot zone that were suspended at 12ft, but as the wind picked up it was hard to hold position and work the jerk bait effectively.  Launching the kayak is a breeze at Blue, nice improvements to the slope of the ramp and the large grade gravel ensures I am not going to sink and get a boot full of water.
