Fished from 7:15 to 2 and got chased off the lake by some serious storms that looked like Mordor in the distance. Warm day with water temp in the low 60’s, overcast and steady winds up to 10mph. Caught somewhere around 20 bass for the day, and had close to a dozen by 8:30 am. Once things warmed up the pattern shifted and the shad ran for cover and settled in the thick weed bed.  Some of the weeds were tough fishing as there was the green algae snot grass around it so I skipped those sections. Surprisingly I blanked on the underspin and they didn't want anything flashy. I caught fish on nearly everything else including bladed jig, scrounger, swimbait, and crank baits.  Don't recall catching anything under 16”  and aside from one bass that had a 5lb head and a 2lb belly, all of the fish are plump and feeding up for the winter.
