Managed a trip to a Cabela’s south of Houston followed by a few hours of fishing. Spent all the value of my gift card plus more and caught a few fish to finish the afternoon. I bank (steep bank) fished Golden Pond. While fishing off the east bank, I noticed the property owners had cut away some of the small trees and brush in parts of the southwest bank corner. I assume they did this to provide the cattle an easy access to the water. (???).  That area is full of old stick ups providing the fish some cover. As the cattle were not there, I afforded myself that access and pitched my chartreuse wacky worm in and around the cover and landed 3 fish at the end of the day. 

Air temp reached the high 60s with a steady wind and bright sun. Clouds were beginning to form when I left around 4 PM.
