After seeing the recent positive reports from others hitting up Lago Escondido, we decided to try our luck today. Weather was perfect & the bite was on. All 12”-18” & we harvested 12 of them. Caught fish pretty regularly from 11am until 5 pm on weightless flukes, weightless worms, & whopper floppers. The lake is incredibly healthy & vegetation has receded enough to make it more fishable than any other time I've seen. Make sure you bring wasp / hornet spray if you’re going to use the patio. Always seem to be new nests each time. What a wonderful property 👍
