First time on a PWF property since the end of June.  Had never been to jer Mar before so i dont have a point of reference, but I'd guess it's down 5- 7 feet.   Lots of the flats were just mud. There was a lot of grass on the surface. You could throw a weedless frog into it regardless of time of day and get hit.  My problem was I didn't hook up with any of them. Not sure if they were short strikes or just pilot error.

All my fish were caught  in the area around the dam.  Two hit the spinner bait, and the other took the texas rigged senko.  At the end of the day, something big hit the senko just to the left of the dock.  She played me for about 30 seconds, then grew tired of the game and snapped me off.  I have convinced myself it was one of those legendary 9 pounders.  

It was worth the trip and I'll  be back.
