  Strange weather day at Giddings. The wind would blow steady over 15+ mph. for approx. 20 min. and then completely stop to 0 mph. for 10 min. then repeat over and over again. It changed from the south to the southeast once and then back to the south. The fish were biting 5” watermelon red worms tx rigged with small tungsten weight on my spinning rod, however, when the wind would pick up I could not detect the strikes and I was throat hooking them.

 Tried everything in the box and they were not having it. Water visability was 6+ feet, weeds were out pretty far, and water level was over 2ft low. Central Texas needs some rain bad.
