Got to fish Double A lake again this year. I believe Double A has the fattest and hardest fighters of all PWF properties I have fished. Fished from 12 noon to 630 pm. Water level looked down at least 3’. Water temp was 78 and clarity was 1.5’. Grass mat was still prominent around the perimeter. It was a super slow start. I had caught only 1 bass from noon to 3 o’clock. I saw Mr Joe at 3 and it was always nice to talk to him. Maybe seeing him gave me good luck or motivation haha. After floundering for 3 hours, I had rallied to catch 17 bass. I ended up with 18 bass and 1 tilapia. A silver rapala dt16 crankbait worked this go around along the dam & the points dropoff. The tilapia ate the creature bug pitched along the grass edge lol. I caught fish from 5’ to 21’ of water. They ranged from 13” to 22.5”. The 19”-20” were super chunky.  Again, Double A bass are incredible fighters. Thank you Mr Joe and PWF!
