Fished Salt Lick until early afternoon and caught 20 or so bass in the 1 ½ to 3 lbs range. Also caught a couple monster crappie and was surprised by a 2lb flathead cat caught near the bank. It was pretty windy early morning and water temp was 75. Fish were caught around the entire perimeter of the lake on a variety of lures included bladed jig, drop shot, squarebill and TRIG. Zero action on the top water and didnt see any bass busting the shad. First time being skunked in the timber on the land bridge. Weedline is a mixed bag of bright green weeds to dead and dying.  Still a pretty healthy weedline around the entire lake providing good cover.
