Arived  6:45 am, fished top water, spinner, swim bait – Landed one fish 3 lb on small point. Only fish first two hours. fished humps, stumps and shorelline. Once sun was up, located an underwater point and creek channel in the stump area. switched to combination of senko and texas rigged worm, both pumpkin with red flake, and this turned the luck. Landed several 1-3 lbs with this pattern. Wind picked up a bit, once sun was over breaking over the trees, I think this helped break up the surface. Fish in the lake are very healthy, chunky and very nice coloring. Moved towards the north damn area, located structure what seemed brush piles. Good concentration of fish on the southward side of piles. Fished slow texas rigged, pumpkin color. Landd nice 4.5 lb 20” at 11:30 AM. missed several fish in 2-3 lbs. Great ½ trip. this lake is my favorite. Well managed, easy access ramp (careful the ramp, very slippery!). The lake has it all, structure, grass, stumps, and channels, All looks. Well managed and beautfil lake.
