Fished Cassidy Farms with another member Wednesday morning . We camped Tuesday night at Lake Fairfield State Park and planned on an early start fishing Cassidy.

A thunderstorm rolled in around the area at 5am, so we had to prepare the camp site in case of rain. This mostly was the cause of us not starting fishing until 8:15.The lake was down 3’ July 13^th and with the recent rains I would put it at 2 to 2 ½ ft down today.The water was stained but the visibility was 1 ft. That black sticky moss was all around the lake so stay off the bottom. 

We caught a total of 51 bass. Three were 5 lbs , two were in the 4 lb range and most seemed to be in the 2 to 3 lb range. Only one was under 14”

Both the north and south ends were shollow and unproductive. We only used plastics and the most productive was the wacky worm. fished from the shore line to 15 yrds out. Watermelon red was the favorite color with wat/seed second.
