First time out with great expectations from previous reports on this lake but it just wasnt in the cards for us this day.

Overcast and 70” all day with a 5 mph N wind.  We started shallow on the south end but topwater was non existent.

Fished the entire lake throwing everything in the arsenal but didnt hook up until we got back to the ramp. This is where we caught the 2 biggest fish

on the crankbait. That made the ride home a little easier.  We will definitely be back as this is obviously a quality bass lake.

Water appeared to be down about 3 ft according to the watermark on the dam.

Bottom was very weedy and a lot of growth on top by the exposed tree and brush lines. Edge by the dam also weedy.
