I didn’t realize from the last trip but the water was down about 3-4’. It made this trip a little tougher working the baits with the grass and clarity. Water temp was 87-88 and clarity was 6 inches. The fish were caught at the weedline edge and brushpiles. I was not able to fish the north end because it’s too shallow and grassy. This doesn’t leave much areas to fish. The rock points were shallow and grassy. Most of the fish caught were 15”-17” with no big fish this go around. I was able to cull 3 bass and 1 catfish. Colors used were chartreuse, bluegill, and june bug. Maybe I wasn’t as focused this time around but we need rain at Black Hat to have more structures to fish. I still enjoyed the time out! Thank you owner and PWF!
