Arriving in the morning we discovered that the mini pontoon boat was grounded and being old and weak we were not able to budge it so we bank fished.  Danny did catch the 6’14” at that time. We went to lunch at the nearby Edge country store and came back hoping to meet someone to assist in moving the boat into the water.  We encountered 2 ranch hands who were loading a bobcat and they were eager to help us.  Thought they might use the bobcat, but they jumped out of the truck and immediately pushed it and it moved about 3 feet.  So the four of us were able to push it further and into the water.  We used various lures which caught a fish or two but we could not develop a pattern.  We had several late hits and hooked fished that got off before they could be boated.  Danny was attracting the big fish and did catch a 5’14” in the afternoon which was followed by several violent strikes but they missed the lure.  The water level was way down and there was a lot of moss but a good portion of the lake is still fishable.
