On the water by 7am. Not much luck on topwater fishing the dam then the west side of the lake first. I had good sucess on a bluegill scarebill most of the day throwing it right to the grassline or parallel to the grass with a slow, steady retreive. Caught a few on chatterbaits and wacky worms but the squarebill was what I had the best sucess on then a red zoom lizard. What was odd about this trip is the standing timber on the east side of the lake, where we have most of our luck we had one, maybe two fish. Most of the fish we caught were in the grass. Biggest fish was 2.4. Returned 8 and removed 27. Most of the 27 were in the 10-12” range.
