It was a very interesting day!  Bass were very slow on the bite.  Usually can get one or two on topwater in the AM but none hit.  So, changed tactics to target areas with a wacky or Tx Rig creature bait.  Got 3-4 over 2lbs and 2 within slot.  We then decided to change our tactics and go to our beginnings… CATFISH!!  We got tons of them on some chicken!  They ranged from 1lb to 10lb.  Yes, there were some monsters!!  Was extremely hot out there, so make sure you guys bring tons of water and chill under the cover so not to get heat exhaustion.  It was a beautiful place, very pretty lake with a lot of different areas to cover!  We had a blast!  Thank you to the owners and to PWF for showing us a good time!!
