Fished by myself Wednesday  morning from 6:30 to 10:30. The lake was down 1” the last time I was there on June 9^th and today it was down 3’ which is not bad considering how dry and hot it has been.The north end had visibility of 12” with vegetation a problem, shallow and not many bass hanging out. I found the bass mainly on the entire west side and south end. As I moved south the visibility increased to 3’ and the vegetation was not an issue.

Caught 35 bass with 4 @ 3 ½ lbs and all but 3 from the 2 lb to 3 ½ lb range. In spite of the negative full moon effect they seemed to be reasonably active.I used tx rig,wacky and flukes in Wat/red,marti gras,wat/seed and pump/chrt. fished weightless to 1/8^th oz. They were sometimes feeding on the absolute shore line to almost 20 yrs out.

I hand launched a 64 lb kayak with not much of a problem but I would not try to launch something on a trailer
