My grandson (9) and I fished Bridle Oaks for a couple of hours on this very hot (100+) afternoon.  We got a dozen or so on and he got to try to reel them all in so he only landed 4 of them.  We fished with Watermelon Flukes for the first hour and switched to Pop-Rs and that was when they started to bite.  We were averaging a hit every 5 minutes or so towards the end.
 

This is a great spot for kids.  We both had a great time and will definitely be back.
