Got out there at 2 pm and fished until 8. The water's down about 2-3' and clarity was 1'. Water temp was at 83 degrees. The wind was pretty much non-existent most of the day so it made it more of a grind. There's a lot of pollen present on the water. Managed to catch them shallow and deep. The bass were caught in the grass, brushpiles, rocks, and deep ledges. Caught 26 bass and missed a few. Lost a good one on the rocks when it spit the lure possibly 6-7#, and my wife had her line snapped right at the boat. This is the pond that my wife previously lost her PB so this made it sting twice as much for her. I'm not sure if these are Florida bass but they fought hard from beginning to end. Enjoy the few pics! Beware of the neighbor’s dog which actually swam out to our boat. She was wanting to get our lures until the man came down to call his dog back. She’s friendly but is young & energetic. We had to keep her away from all of the rods so she wouldn’t get hooked.
