Fingerling
A friend of mine (Bob) and his 16 year old son (Diego) flew in from Phoenix to fish a few fabled pwf lakes with me. Friday, we endured 102 temps to fish the Bluffs and were rewarded with a 6.1 lb PB for Diego. Bob has been fighting cancer for a few years. So, I was really happy that we were able to have him experience the joy of watching his son catch a big un! The bite was real slow in the AM….lots of short strikes on topwater and swimbaits. So, in the afternoon, we downsized (from 4.8 to 4.3”) our swimjigs and fished them slow and low on outside weed edges and started consistenly catching 2 to 6 pound bass. Culled 6.

Beautiful fish, congrats to Diego on his PB! Glad you were able to get them out and get on some nice fish there, you are a good friend. Best of luck to Bob on his fight!
