Where was the wind Double-A so often gets and especially all the winds we’ve been having?? Started from 8-11:30 am and caught 14 bass. The bass stopped biting at 10:30 because the breeze died. Took lunch with the wife and came back at 2 pm. Spoke to Mr Joe at this time. He's gracious as always! He wants to gather as much information from us to help grow the bass and to make our visit the best possible. Fished from 2:30-5:30 and caught 8 bass. The breeze died since 10:30 am and never came back. The heat became unbearable with no breeze. Still had a great time. I caught solid fish consistently. The post spawn bass were still thick and heavy. I ended up catching 22 bass, 1 dink, and the biggest was 22.5 inch. Sorry I couldn’t give weights. My digital scale screen was cracked therefore not working.  I was working the grassline drops, underwater points, and brushpiles. Colors that worked for me were black & blue, bluegill, and white. Thank you Mr Owner and PWF!

I’m still recovering/dehydrated from that day.  It was humid and hot, and as you said, no wind.  Looks like the bass responded to you though.  14 with a 22”+ is a solid day for AA IMO in non-ideal conditions – nice work!

Double-A can be a little tough but I found out you got to have a little patience and work the right bait. Still looking for the 24”+ there.  Good luck to those fishig this weekend in the 100+ degrees for both days. Stay hydrated and bring a little wind! Thank you!
