My brother James and I caught 47 (23 bass over the limit and 24 culls).  Most were 2.5-3.5 lbs with couple over 4lbs.  The bite was steady all day, but the fish were really selective.  We got there at 7:00 and it was overcast with a nice light breeze. So, we started with a topwater.  Caught only 1 small cull. James switched to a weightless senko and started catching ~4 / hr using darker colors along the grass edges.  He stuck with that all day. I tried a few things (spinner, crankbait, lipless crankbait) with no luck.  So I switched to a green Texas rigged power worm in green pumpkin and caught a few.  We took a break for lunch and the sun came out, so we started fishing deep around both sides of the old dank dam and over a few big rock piles.  I used a dropshot and James stuck with the senko.  Caught steady the rest of the day until about 4:30.  We tried a few other deep presentations (football jig, spoon, etc.) but couldn’t get them to take anything but the senko or the dropshot.
