My wife and i got there Friday and got unloaded and fished. We fished Saturday morning until it got so hot we couldn’t be outside. I fished Sunday morning. Make no mistake though, this is an INCREDIBLE property and lake and cabin. The owners have worked so hard to make this a true show place. The fishing was tough and try as i might i just couldnt get a pattern. Fish in the grass were small and the bite was sporadic at best. Couldnt get bit on anything moving (except my wife caught the catfish on a bladed jig-thats a first!) But we caught a few never the less. It got too hot for us to enjoy the farm and gardens as they are intended. But in no way did that spoil any part of our trip and we so grateful to the owners for allowing us to enjoy this truly magnificent property. If you havent been here you should plan to go. Its a great place to take your spouse as the cabin is first class as are the gardens and pergola. I will return for sure when its not so hot if they will have us. Again, nothing but thanks and respect for the landowners for providing their place for us to enjoy such a wonderful experience
