Got on the water by 6:30 am and it was smooth as glass.  Topwater to start and the dinks were jumping out of the lake to hit silver tiny torpedo.  About ½ couldn’t even catch a hook.  I went to the wacky rig and Tx rig worms next but moss was heavier in spots so went to weedless speed craw Texas rig.  Caught most of the fish on the june bug color about 20-30 feet from banks across the lake from the dock and against the dam side.  The fish were chasing shad in the shallows but they shut off about 9 am when the cows headed for the shade.

My troll motor burned up and the wind was going the wrong direction so I pakced up about 10:30 am and had to retreat.

Good place to fish from bank and dock.  Nice location and easy access.
