This place is in dire need of culling. Of the 65 caught 15 were 7” – 10” in length. Biggest caught were 3 – 3.5 lbs. Nice place but on serious need of some management,

FWIW they use one of the best management companies in the business.
As someone who is intimately involved in managing a large club lake, there are a lot of factors/decisions that go into what you may or may not do in a given year. This lake always seems to be managed to produce an unlimited number of 2-4lb fish that are very catchable.
They may be culling the top end of older fish/genetics and adding a class below to turn over the older genetics etc. While this doesn’t bode well for today, long term decisions sometimes have to work like that.

This report is surprising. This lake and landowner likely spends more money per surface acre of water than any in the club. Moreover, the report 2 days prior was almost all 2-4 lb bass. Odd, for sure. I hope you will give it another chance as catching dinks is not typical at Signal Ranch. But, glad to know they have a junior varisty group of fish coming up. Love the Frog!

Just run a bluegill/sunfish color crankbait or chatterbait through the bubbles. You can get larger fish all day.

Sounds like we need a good ol’ fashion fishing rodeo and the most bass under 12” wins. Man, that is one serious bullfrog……….that thing is huge!
