Enjoyed an afternoon of solo fishing at Lago Escondido.  Cloud cover unitil late afternoon moderated the temps a little.  Lake level near normal with the help fo some well water, and visibility around 2 ft. Not even a tap on crankbaits, chatterbait or jig, but most every kind of SP in the tacklebox got hit, both weightless & weighted.  Most consistent action was around shallow weedbeds near deeper water.  No big girls today, but all except 1 harvested were over 14”, and the long skinny bodies confirm that the spawn is done. 

Kept company all afternoon with a dozen or so amazingly calm swans.  Also enjoyed a little time enjoying the view and breeze from immaculately maintained pavilion & lawn. Thanks to the owner for providing such a nice facility.
