Got on the water at sunrise and fished till 2:30.  Air temp lower 70’s, water temp 79. Morning was overcast with light winds. Sun started coming out around 11. With the overcast morning skies I was dissapointed that there wasn’t any top water action. Lake has an abundance of what I call spaghetti grass (I’ve also hear it called snot grass) near or coming up to the surface. These long spindly strands make it challenging. Spinnerbait and TX rigged worm had the most success. Launching my 11 ft pond boat was no problem. Good to be out on the water feeling the pull.
