Had to attend a business conference down in Austin, so I booked this lake for my wife and I to fish on the way down, figuring we’d get there by 9:30am and fish until about 2pm. (I had to check into my conference by 3:30pm.  Well we left home (Rockwall) a couple of hours late, hit some traffic and didn’t get to the lake until 12:30pm, so we only got to fish it for about an hour and a half before we had to leave.  What a great looking lake.  The lilly pads and grass just look like they should be loaded.  We just stuck with Topwaters, Frogs and Poppers and caught 2 fat, Bass up to 4lbs. and my wife had a giant blow up on the Frog that she missed. Definitely a lake to fish the Frog.  I’ll be back for sure when I have more time.
