Visited Wealder on a day wih some clouds and cooler temps after a early week front.  Lake is nearly full, visibility a foot or so.  More action in the afternoon under overcast than in morning hours.  Although one or more were caught on everthing tried, the most consistent was on texas rigged SP creatures in the arm with peninsulas.  Almost all the bass were 14-16”; smallest one was more than 12”.  Four catfish up to 7 lb decided to join the party as well.  Enjoyed seeing several deer milling around a feeder in the field midafternoon, then listening to a lonely tom turkey trying to find a mate, both in the fields southest of the lake. The place is well-kept and Akaushi were active and curious, as always.
