A friend and I fished April 12^th and 13^th with two completely different conditions.  We started out Tuesday morning with lots of top water action in the shallows!  We were trying to get bite going but then realized it was spawning season for the grass carp!  They were everywhere!   The weather on Tuesday was nice and comfortable with lots of cloud cover and light winds.  We had a red cell T-Storm come through about 2:00-4:30 so sought cover quickly.   We caught lots of 14-19 inch bass but nothing over 4 lbs.  We culled 32 on Tuesday and 18 on Wednesday.  Wednesday was bright sun and wind so to say it slowed down would be an understatement.  The moss and hydrilla are there so you just have to find the holes and fish.  Good Luck!
