Mike and I got on the water right at noon.  Just after we arrived Joe came down and talked a bit with Mike.  Water temp was 63 degrees and water clarity was good.    Could see down 2’ – 3’.  The wind was light when we first got on the water, but starting about 4:00 a south wind was pretty stout and we even had some white caps occasionly.  We caught 19 fish.  The biggest was 8 lbs. and 23 1/4”.  Rounding out the top 5 were a 5, 4¾, 4 & 3 ¾ for a total of 25 ½.  Only caught 1 dink.  Big spinner baits out past the weeds in the deeper water was what we caught nearly all the fish on.  No particular area worked better. We caught them all around the lake.  The road in is nice and the gravel boat ramp was great for launching and recovering our two small baots.  It’s been a year since we last fished here and it was a great afternoon, just like a year ago.
